currently got a gtr5 and want to upgrade to a carbon bike and improve my cycling for distance and speed.
i am considering the boardman as it seems to get a good write up
and the ribble cos it looks nice he he!

any advice on the pros and cons of each? what riding styles are each suited too? which is the better frame/more upgradeable over time?
what one do you recommend as the better all round bike?
cheers

I can't answer your question but I have just placed an order with Ribble for a Gran Fondo. It will be my 2nd Ribble and if it is as well setup as the first I will be very happy.
I deliberated over the Gran Fondo and the (New) Sportive. This thread helped with the decision making:

It's worth a read as it gives some more info on the GF.

I''ve left the prices out as they are similar, but the best bike for your cash will be the one that gives you the best deal.Simon0 -
Those 3 are all unbeatable and any one of them would be a good choice. Find which one you feel most comfortable on and buy that.
Don't deliberate for too long though. There is a lot of pressure on prices for next year.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

From my understanding the Team Carbon is the most aggressive out of the three (geometry wise)
I have mine, and love it, but to be honest, all 3 are great bikes. I would choose the Boardman out of the three, but still think the ribble is by far the best looking out of them!0
