One advantage of the snow is that it obscures the paint on the roads including parking bays, yellow lines, box junctions and especially those f*cking diagonal lines in the middle of arrow-straight A-roads where it has been perfectly safe to overtake for years.0 -
you think thats ridiculous, the council have been round one area where my parents live and actually cleared the roads by the speed camera's markings on the road.... stupidity as in the distance up to it there was still quite a build up of snow and i'd certainly not get enough speed to set it offMTB - Claud Butler Olympus XT

More the fact they've only cleared a stretch of road where there are some markings for a speed camera.... not that you can actually get to 30mph to be caught speeding as the roads are still lethal in that areaMTB - Claud Butler Olympus XT

The Newport council has completely failed to grit the roads to the two power stations currently too, pathetic.
I can't wait for the snow to feck off now0 -

i had good fun riding DH today and havent taken my snowboard out yet, so long as the roads are ok the snow is a good thing for me.
but yeah its about time the council/government invested some money into dealing with these conditions more efficientlyDont look at it-ride it! they are tools not f*cking ornaments
