just got my christmas bonus... an envelope with a sainsbury's gift card inside and nowt else, they didn't even tell how much is on it :lol:

With some internet sleuthing I have deducted it contains £50.

So now I need your suggestions on the most extravagent way to spend this so it doesnt end up going on milk, bread and beans.

    My local sainsburys does cycling clothing (and bizarrely wetsuits). No idea how good it is though.

    I never said I wasn't grateful for it, it's just a bit of an odd bonus for a global production agency to give us.

    And the thread is here as I just can't bring myself to spend it on food shopping. there has to be a better use for it but going over the sainsburys website there's slim pickings to be had.

    It should be spent on something epic. I might use it to fund the creation of a brain child of a project of mine called the 'pork pint'. which follows on from my previous culinary masterpiece the giant walnut whip as featured here

    it's still a mystery how I used to weigh 19.5 stone though haha
