2010 stumpy expert or 2009 enduro expert both are £2000

Hi looking at these two bikes. I do a mix of xc and trail centre riding with a view to do some xc or enduro races next year. Does any one know of any faults with these bikes like the afr shock.
2010 stumpy expert
1998 saracen tuff trak (classic)
2008 pinarello fp1

  • Two very different bikes - more travel don't mean better, just different, from what you've said you want to do, you'll be far better served by the stumpy. The enduro suits better if you like the occasional Jaunt down a dh track, going to the alps or just generally like 'big' mountain riding :-)

    I would go for the Stumpjumper, as it is lighter, and only has 10mm less travel on each end. The Enduro will be great for trail centres, but wayyy to chunky for XC racing.
