Decided when the snow started coming down that I'd be better off beating the weather and going home to work. Left Cardiff at 12.10, did what I thought would be the worst of the journey to a mile from the M4 in about an hour and it then took me over 5 hours to do the final 10 miles! Total journey length 18 miles, total time 6 hours 10 minutes. I'm just glad I visited the loo before I left

but just as you thought, the first mile to the M4 was the worst part of the journey. The last 10 miles you were going twice as fast!0
