Hi, guys!
I’m a bike enthusiast from Latvia. Like a user emsens, I also drive with Superior mountainbike. In my opinion, I am an amateur in XC discipline, but I can ride very well. Before my SUP I was riding with my Cube Analogue 2005 bike or something like that. After freehub breakage, i decide to upgrade my Cube, but when I bought my Avid Juicy 7 2009 brakes, I realized that my Cube frame isn’t enough good for upgrading.
-The I bought Superior XP930 2008 frame (weight about 1550g) To saving money I got second-hand fork – Rock Shox Tora SL white. Infamous fork.
It was my first Superior custom bike with Shimano parts – SLX shifters, XT shadow mech & stuff.
After this mod, i decided to go on SRAM religion.
-Now is winter, i guess.. about -15oC in Latvia. With bike now isn’t possible to move because of salt and lot of uncleared roads. Therefore, now I upgrading my bike with new parts.
Parts of my Superior before extra upgrading of nowadays:
These are the parts wich I will keep. (And my PG991 chain, ONE lock-on grips, Fizik Nisene saddle, FSA headset, FSA seatpost, Truvativ Stylo 3.3 crankset)
-The biggest purchase few days ago was Fulcrum Red Metal 5 wheelset. (Remove my custom alexrims wheelset)
Before:
After:
To sum up my topic, I think i will keep my Superior frame for a long time. In this winter I want to buy:
*Manitou Minute or Fox 32 RLC fork
*SRAM PG-990 cassette
*Shimano front Mech to change my LX mech.
*And some stuff for bike looking.
So. Maybe you can offer me 160mm rotor, XT front mech, maybe cassette.
And sorry for my bad English knowedges.

Not bad, I had never heard of Superior bikes before the other guy from Latvia, and seem to be alright. Upgrades look good so far, fair bit of cash spunked. Lucky guy!0

Brand - Superior, i guess is the most used brand frames in Latvia besauce of good dealer with nice prices. Strong, lightweight frames. Okay, okay, Trek & some other brand bikes are popular too.
In spring i try to get back on wheels. My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0 -

There is the bikes with price. In webpage currency is LVL.
1 LVL = ~0,82 punds.
Price for bike /0,82 is price in pounds.
But i can get these bikes little bit cheaper because of good dealer. My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0 -

Wow, thats a bargain for that spec. Manitou forks seem very popular over there too, they are quite rare here. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

Thanks mate!
If we speaking about bars.. I want Race Face Turbine bar with 3/4 rise. I don't like bars with big rise.
Seatpost I want from Raceface products. My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0 -
I've upgraded few things on my Superior bike, for example - tires, handlebar. And few weeks ago I sold my FOX Talas and bought new FOX F80 RL with remote.
New pics
Enjoy!My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0 -

Nice looking bottle cage. Spec dealer in Latvia also offer this bottle cage. I think - it's time to buy someone. Thanks. My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0

Those bottle cages are crap, they damage bottle really hard.0

You prefer Hydration Pack? Main discipline in my country of mountain biking is XC marathons, where better the hidro pack isn't on your back. It is only my opinion. My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0

What I have seen of this bikes so far and the 2014 range; they are going to make a BIG impact here in the UK
Great frames with good spec!!!
Some of the models are now available in the UK, with the full range coming soon View http://www.superiorbikes.co.uk/ And do a Google: Superior team 29 carbon reviewMobile Bicycle Mechanics Specialist http://www.cycletechuk.co.uk0 -
Nice bike, preferred the look of the talas forks, but hey. Avid juices are actually the best brakes ever, so good choice there... I would upsize the rotors also, but overall, nice bike!0

Haven't been in this forum for about a year. I leaved cycling previous season because of new work, family stuff and so on, but in this season I will be back with new bike: Superior X979 frame with parts from 2014 Superior Team 29 bike. Will show you the new bike next month.
I ended my last season with this bike: www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php? ... t=12882703My first road bike - Tommaso Aggraziato0 -

I would disagree with that. They are cheaper and more reliable than any other Avids which in my opinion makes them the best Avid brakes. I preferred my old Juicy Sevens to my frustratingly unreliable and inconsistent X0 trail brakes.
Interesting bike. Looks like a nice xc hardtail.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
