  • Hmm, I'd try it if I had disc brakes or a fixed wheel - it's not going to work with callipers.

    And fixing a puncture is gonna take a while.

    They won't last long one snow-free roads either.
    More problems but still living....

  • I tried it out on one for my fixies. The grip was brilliant but I'd say it would only work well with a bit with disc brakes. Fixie skidding to stop in snow and ice, with my shoes strapped in was sketchy!

    You tried this even though you're good friends with Bhima? Why not use the "sandpaper tyres" he was working on?
