Does anyone have any solid information about Heathrow? We were supposed to fly at 2135 last night but it was cancelled.

We stayed in a hotel overnight in Staines and we've been down to the airport today, only to be turned back by the Police.

Any information would be appreciated

    Well my kids were due to fly yesterday morning from Gatwick out to Naples for Xmas, flight was cancelled so they re-booked for this morning. That flight was also cancelled - next flight with spare seats is on Wed afternoon!!. Not good and not impressed with the snow.

    Indeed, I was chatting to some locals a month or so ago and their children of 10/11 yrs had never seen snow in Naples - well it has now snowed twice in the last couple of days. Apparently, this is very exceptional.

    Just said on radio5 Heathrow is closed to arrivals and only a handful of departures today.

    i was ment to be going to america with my family, been cancelled best we could get was sunday next week, gutted! miss family for xmas but on the upside we will get over and im not sleeping on the terminal floor! feelings go to all those who are!

    We're going back to Heathrow now, we've got a reference from the travel agent and we're going to try and find out more.

    It's looking good tho :) hopefully will be flying tonight
