Hi
Got the above shock and wheni lock it out i am still able to move it by applying weight to front. I t also makes a sqeeky noise.
Should it be solid with no movement ?
Cheers

Mine has about 1cm give just in case you forget to unlock it but other than that its rigid and doesnt squeak. My Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0

It will never be solid, unless it breaks.
The squeak is probably just cold air or oil moving around in the fork. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

It could be because some Fox forks ship with too little oil in them, so if you are fairly confident about dismantling them you can strip them down and check the oil levels.
The oil levels are on the Fox service site thing

You can adjust the level at which the fork blows off with the fork locked out.
on the underside of the right leg (mine are 32 140 rlc `s) there is a knob for adjusting this...
