Good riding - Ashton-under-lyne, hartshead pike, mossely

I have recently moved to ashton and wondered if anybody knew of any good routes around the area or surrounding area.

I can cycle to Hartshead pike from my house which takes me to saddleworth.

Done the diggle jiggle yesterday which incorporated a large amount of the PBW however all the climbing was good much of the route was tarmac and a bit tame.

If anybody has any pointers it would be most appreciated

    yup the diggle jiggle is a very basic route indeed!
    I'm based in Uppermill. tonnes of good stuff around here. Get yourself to the Cyclery on Uppermill High ST and ask one of the chaps for some good routes.

    get yourself over towards Littleboro which is pretty easy to ride to from Saddleworth side. Grab an OS landranger map of the area and you'll find masses of rides around Hollingworth lake.
