Well?

I was planning to get one, but at this rate winter might be over by the time they arrive!

I CBA opening another browser window and googling this, so I'm going to ask what the fandango is a Alpkit Filo?

I thought there were enough Alpkit fans in here to make this thread understandable!

    Sadly mistaken then I see.
I didn't realise puffer jackets were "real" coats. I though they were chav uniforms.

It's a down jacket. To keep me warm whilst doing manly outdoorsy things! Not a puffed up Kappa shellsuit to wear while I drink white lightning with my pregnant 14 year old girlfriend

I've got a great Vango coat that I bought with company money over 12 years ago. It's light, but has kept me toasty warm even down to -15 degrees. Awesome bit of kit. Can't be arsed with this heavily downed stuff. I'll wear a thick jumper underneath if I get really cold.

what I mean is, those enormous coats are only good for siberian winters, where as I prefer to have as few clothes as possible, so one coat does me all the way from winter, right through until "not quite as cold as deep winter - winter" Otherwise known as summer.
