Buying shorts online... good idea for my Mrs?

Me and my Mrs are off to Spain at Christmas and she needs a new pair of shorts. Most places we've looked at locally have only winter shorts in stock, or they are only in black or navy.

She's a size 12, 5'2" and curvy. Anyone got any idea if these will fit in the medium?

Or any other suggestions gratefully received. Ideally she wants them in brown.

Pah! So warning to all you women would be a size 13 (if it existed) medium -in these shorts anyway- is too small...
