Muc off 8 2011

Hello, any info on dates for the muc off 8 next year? Website says info available 15th Dec. Don't want to be impatient but have to book time off work asap.

Crazy date, last year's mucoff8 was good, ok it was muddy, ok it wasn't particularly warm, but having an eight hour team race on the cusp of winter next year.. bad move i reckon!

Could go either way imo, last year the course was really boggy in places and if the rest of the winter continues the way it is at the moment then it would probably be a repeat, however if we get a dry summer and autumn then it could be pretty good.

Does anyone have any news on this event, it's been very quiet and on the veto website it seems it has been postponed until 2012, although the MucOff8 website is still counting down until the 5thNov..
