I've got some Euros in my wallet; forgot to change them back last trip to Dusseldorf. I'm just hanging on to them till the next trip in March.

I always assume I'm conversing with a predominantly UK / Irish bunch on here with an occasional correspondent from some outpost of the empire.

Ask Dennis about chain cleaning / lubrication, or the proper use of a torque wrench with carbon fibre components.

I left Toronto 6 years ago today for the UK. (Not for a woman OR the crappy all-year-round weather!)

SW burbs, near Naperville. Lots of country (farm) roads out this way and I love it. My brother lives in Evanston but it can take 90 minutes to get there these days with Chicago traffic.
How did you end up in the UAE?

And why is there no 'post reply' button to hit when I want to reply?????

Well, you're much closer to me than most of the posters here. Do you participate in any forums on this side of the pond?

We're playing your Vikes this weekend but I'm still not sure where.

It is possible to send private messages, not direct from the conversation we are in.

Shame the traffic is so bad there, it was back in 2002-3 that I stayed there and it wasn't so bad.

How I ended up here is a long story (and not that interesting), I'm from Scotland, but have been on the road with my family for a long time......through work.

They aren't my Vikes. Don't care at all really. I started following this forum as I was preparing for the Etape in 2008. It's been fun and somewhat informative. Although sometimes you will need an English/English dictionary. :)
