**yet another winter tyre thread*
Hi guys
I was on the verge of pulling the trigger on a pair of these but then read the C+ review that reckoned they were really difficult to fit and remove
Given they may be going on a pair of Easton EA50s (if the buggers ever stop squeaking) I'm a bit worried about this - my Krylion Carbons go on and off OK but am wondering if they'll be tough enough for Flanders (had a p* on then first day out which kinda killed my confidence).
So anyone taken delivery and fitted a pair
Cheers m'dears.

I have got them on my Trek 1000 commuter... Always used Stelvio Plus in the past and these are the replacements for them... They fitted easily enough onto my old Shimano wheels ( unfortunately I don't know the model no.), and I have fitted them to new pair of Shimano RS10's - they went on fine, no real struggle with them...
I did actually puncture with only 3 weeks use of them, but have had none since , and I found that happened before with Stelvio's - u might get a p*ncture but then nothing for a couple of thousand miles - just goes to show that no tyre is 100% p proof.... I would recommend them.0 -
Excellent tyre. Have had a couple of punctures, but extreme cases over loads of distance (8k+)
The grip is not the best. I'd see them more as a commuter/touring tyre, rather than flanders. I used the Vittoria Pave last year which were pefect for the cobbles.0 -
always find new tyres a bugger to fit ! Marathones can be real pains !0

haven't ridden the duranos, but have ridden stelvios in every size from 20" to 700x25 and think that they're excellent durable tyres.http://www.georgesfoundation.org
