How's your weekend been?

Mine's been a bit chaotic - Christmas shopping, quiz night (we came last at won a wooden spoon - very useful), long walk with the hound down the beach, dinner at Mother-in-laws and now reading up a bit for my interview on Tuesday.

    Today was spent fettling under the Land Rover bonnet to cure an annoying fanbelt squeak. I cured it! Timing belt tensioner needed some TLC and it cost me 1P to fix Genius!
    Right now I am listening to my Steely Dan collection including Donald Fagen and Walter Becker's solo albums. Audio bliss :¬)
    There's some chicken slow cooking with garlic, lemon and herd, another 45 minutes and it'll be ready for consumption.

    Went to cwm carn on saturday... covered in ice so I had to call it short, on the way down on the road I fell, cause its like, you cant brake, and you cant turn, then today im ill :( no biking for a few days

    went shopping for a nice treat for me, enjoyed a delicious costa mint hot chocolate, ate a very tasty fish curry what i made. now watching the faculty, which is suprisingly entertaining!

    Generally s*hit.

    No cycling, but I've read the papers, listened to lots of old music and laughed at Camilla being 'poked with a stick'. Personally, I wouldn't poke her with a barge pole.
    Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Spent a lot of time in hospital and the rest looking after my brother and Mum or doing chores. I've just made tea ready also, but still have ironing to do which may be left til tomorrow now.

    CHristmas party in Liverpool yesterday, so night away from the kids & a load of ale - all good!

    Then got up early for a bike ride at my mates & fun until the last mile when my mate goes down like a sack of spuds, I start to laugh & I also go down - damm you black ice

    Then back home with the roof off the car & to the fun of a childs party followed by the pub :)

    got the nearly last bis for the new bike build ( ymb Last Herb) and yesterday was fun putting what I could of that together

    Today was taking daughter to horse riding then the pair of us went to Meadowhall sc for the last bit of shopping before I go away.

    Put tree up for the missus to decorate tomorrow, pack bag, drink cava then later go to sleep.
    I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!
