Has anyone been to any of these?

Am I missing something obvious or is there no way to book in advance? Is it just a turn up and wait kind of thing? How well does it work because I'd like to try a few bikes out, but don;t want to spend all day waiting around just for one or two.

    Only get 45 mins max per bike, no time to do the monkey then. :cry:

    The BikeRadar demo day at cannock used a short section of FTD for 45 minute slots, and you could nip off to other sections too, if you knew where you were going. It still doesn't feel like a particularly long time though. But it's probably the right thing to do, to make sure everyone gets a chance to ride.

    It's tempting to come and have a go Bails but I know I won;t be buying anything other than a steel HT next so it would only serve as a few free goes on something different.

    Like you, not sure I want to stand around waiting for that pleasure either when I can just bring my own bike and ride without clock watching.
