im glad you like it though seeing as you are paying for it (provided you pay your taxes of course)0 -
Hmmm Eco-drive? Isn't that one of those self winding jobbies? You have to be careful with those. I had a seiko kinetic and after a vigourous Anne Frank I ended up on the year 3000.
It was ok, not much has changed, but we live underwater
oh and Sheeps, your great, great , great Grandaughter was pretty fine

I think they have been endorsed by Bin Laden...he has been in his cave for four years now, so he still has three years left....0 -
The watch is broken, it's telling the wrong time.
Gutted. It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I like that. No pissing about, it's just the time, wrist mounted. Perfect.
The other one looks like it was either very very expensive or £13.99 from Argos.Uncompromising extremist0 -

i like the pic too.
it is a lovely thing in the flesh but it is deliberately different to the citizen.
sometimes i like a gadgety watch, sometimes i like something a bit cleaner looking but generally i like large watches in a typically diver style (lets ignore the fact that i cant dive)
the citizen is a fliping whopper, about 50mm across and is a watch ive wanted for ages, it snt subtle in style for sure, but it isnt subtle on my arm either!
i used to like the idea of pricey watches, stuff like omegas and breitlings but after saving the money for an omega once upon a time, i tried one on and couldnt bring myself to part with so much monies for a time piece. i love to see them and often they are really tactile and attractive objects but i couldnt spank that kind of money on a watch. the citizen was 400 quid and is pretty much my limit on a watch.
as for the picture itself, im very pleased with it, i took it with the new camera which im very much enjoying using.
i suppose photographers would already know this but to take that picture, i had to do it in a virtually lightless room and left the shutter open for 8 seconds. i cant believe it actually produced an image at all as you couldnt really see anything on the view finder.0 -
I on the other hand am a diver and have used citizen dive watches for years.
Cracking watches that have never given me a problem. good choice.
i looked at expensive ones-put off by the cost to get them serviced/repaired.0 -
Citizen is just a mess of functions in my opinion, a really muddled design.
I've got a few fancy pants watches but no fancy camera to picture them, it's an expensive hobby!0 -
I've just been on www.watchradar.com next door and there's a really off topic thread about which lights are best for cycling.
...........weird0 -

if i was a wealthier man, id be very interested in some expensive watch brands, i love the look of some IWC watches especially the big pilot watches but alas, im too poor/pikey!0 -

Now that's a great site
P.s. on the timepiece side of things have you seen the nice plain stuff from danish design? Not silly money either.

The professional designers watch is lovely, but for £200 i went for the one that has its own dive computer integrated. Not sure if there is much point in a divers watch that is effectively a normal watch but can withstand greater pressure.
There is a very nice Breitling that comes with a free Aston Martin. The watch acts as the key for it. well cool.0 -

You mean the JLC amvox that doesn't come with an Aston.0
