trek fuel and trainers

hi,i currently have a trek fuel ex9 2009 and just brought a mag lite turbo trainer carnt get it to fit,been told i need a new skewer,that didnt work any advice please,john.

    I have a feeling that it will not be fitting.

    the Qr is part of the suspension system so that is not changeable.

    Also why the hell would you want to put that on a trainer. Get an old road bike. or slick shod Rigid MTB.

    As Nick says above, I think you will have a problem trying to get it on with the ABP system on the back.

    Yep, that's not gonna work sadly, although the ABP Race on the Top Fuel is narrower and will fit in a turbo, you may be able to change the pivot on the Ex, be a question for Trek.

    thank you all, just brought a near new boardman comp £300 only been riden once from family member, hope this works now
