If I use them in the dry will I wear them out quicker than normal? Got 2 pairs kicking around and intend to fit them to the cheap winter roadie hack.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Do you change your pads according to the weather? :)

I'm got some and they seem to have worn a little faster than the black pads, but there's so much crap on the roads, I'm not surprised.

I did consider it when I bought them originally for the Allez but it was too much hassle and the Tricross is for the wet. Will be fitting them to the Vanquish which means I have all I need to build it up when the headset bearings arrive.

It rains in July too

Mine are on all seasons. Yes, they wear out quicker but they also stop quicker. The choice is yours. If I replace my tyres, bar tape & pads every spring it's not that big a deal but much nicer than always being on the limit worried about punctures or not stopping in the wet.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

They can be hard to come by but are more common than the rarer Swiss Stop Minnows.
