Hi all, first of all sorry if this is the wrong section but its been a long time since ive been on here....
Got my first propper mountain / downhill bike the other day, a "GT DHI 2005" and its most definatly better than my old Halfords appollo downhill i got over 2 years ago
It is seccond hand and since recieving ive gone over everything with an allen key n such but i am finding the suspension a little too soft for my current riding which is mainly on road at the moment....
How do i go about making the following suspension harder?
Front forks are - not sure... says rockshox and has lots of fancy coloured graphics on them
Rear Suspension - fox van r setup
any help would be appreciated,
cheers

You'd need to be a bit more specific. 2007 came with RockShox Boxxer World Cup forks and Fox DHX5 shock. No idea whether 2005 was the same

Hi guys, the forks and suspensions have been fitted as aftermarket parts, the stock ones no longer exist with the bike, when i bought it it came with a few upgrades and changes done to it....
Iel get some pictures up over the weekend to make it a bit easier to name the things :P

If they are air, just really a matter of setting sag and rebound. If they are springs you can adjust preload by adjusting the collar, and rebound if adjustable, but anything more means changing springs.I don't do smileys.
