Pegasus
WTF is wrong with these guys.
Didn't get paperwork right for PT, now same story for Pro-Conti.
I'd heard a rumour their cash was pulled in light of the Contador positive but nothing concrete. They have a bunch of riders and all but it's not looking good.
Even those wierd little Italian teams seem to have got their paperwork in order.

Seems like another bunch of riders having the rug pulled from under them all too late, not that I'm comparing it to Cervelo Test Team but is bad that they don't have their paperwork in order. Leaving so damn fine riders with a very short option of hang on and hope it is sorted out or look for a ride elsewhere but on a lower wage and possibly with a lesser team than they could have gone for.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

More Fassa Ferretti's Sony Ericsson, or Linda Mc's Jaguar than Cervelo, I'd say."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Not looking good. Not a good time for riders at the minute. Any body got any more up to date info on what Geox are doing? Might be more riders for looking for teams if that falls through as well.***** Pro Tour Pundit Champion 2020, 2018, 2017 & 2011 *****0

Looks like Pegasus has now pulled the plug on funding:

Perhaps CN should have spoken with Chris White rather than just make assumptions. Gee, their journalistic integrity is shot these days:

CN headline is total Bullsh!t, but hardly surpring givien it is, CN after all.0 -
I'm pretty certain CN would have verified their story before publishing it. Chris White sounds like a condemned man, he has to put on a positive front but if he can beat the UCI's deadline of Wednesday to have the financial guarantees in place I'd be surprised, as it sounds like a large part of his funding was withdrawn last week. That's normally fatal for a cycling team at this point in the calendar.0

Given his dire financial problems, it's no surprise Pegasus are grounded.0 -

Not according to Velonation - they claim to have George Gillett Jr confirmed by three separate sources:

This is something riders should get more arsey about.
F*ck protesting because the road's a little narrow and wet.
Protest about the total lack of employee and job security.
This is seriously amateur, and would be if the figures involved weren't so big.0 -

This forum by majority agrees point 2 is exactly the medicine the sport needs. That will teach the dopers they think0 -
