Hi Folkes
Not sure if this is in the right section. but is anyone using the Electron Terra 2 Twin light system?
I am looking for a good front light with a budget og 100.00GBP
I ride on until roads and simple trails on winter evenings.
Any advice will be greatly recieved.
Thanks

There is a review of these lights on here under "Bikes and gear" there are also hundreds of pages of ranting in buying advice. As with a lot of things people prefer what they have to what others have. I have been fortunate enough to find myself working next door to my LBS run by a couple of great blokes who have lent me their own lights to try. You don't get that service from a website.0

The "New what lights discussion thread" is three threads below yours. It should only take a day or two to read and digest...0

If you want the abbreviated What Light's thread it says 'buy a combination of P7 and/or 501b XPG torches from BestOfferBuy or DealExtreme - these are torches using 18650 cells so you will also need the cells and a charger, and some mounts'. Total budget for a bars + lid set up should be in the £50-75 range, and it will give you in the order of 600 to 1000 lumens. There appears to be nothing close on price/performance - but you need to make your own judgement on quality/support/delivery times.
As a comparison:
The Electron Terra 2 is 120 + 120 lumens (total 240 lumens) for about £80... and is top rated in WMB as a budget set-up - so I don't intend to knock it in any way.
Two 501b XPG torches gives you 300 + 300 lumens for £25 plus about £25 for two set of 18650 cells, a charger, and bar + lid mounts.
