MTE SF-15 battery problem

Sorry if this has been covered already, I searched the forums for about an hour and never really found a solid answer.
I just received a MTE SF-15 from DealExtreme and tried it on arrival and it was great. However, I then fully charged the batteries and now it seems when the batteries are fully charged the light draws so much current the protection trips on the battery meaning it switches off after about half a second when on full. It works ok on medium and low. So if I partially discharge the battery, it then starts working on high again.
So, the batteries I have are:
SKU-26247 UltraFire Protected 18650 3.7V 2600mAh Lithium Batteries (red ones)
Can any owners of this particular light let me know which batteries they use? Hopefully something with a higher cut out
I could of course go un-protected (oh er) and risk my torch turning into a ball of flames I guess :shock:
I'm hoping everyone doesn't come on here now and tell me they have those batteries with that light...
