So there I was, eagerly awaiting the delivery of my first road bike - Wilier Petachi replica and was told it would arrive today. But it now turns out that.......and get this.......they didn't ship enough over so I'll have to wait another couple of months to get mine in the next batch! :-(

It'll be worth though won't it? Plus its likely by the time it eventually turns up we will be in the middle of a baking hot summerWeaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals! Except the weasel0

I've been on the receiving end of an Italian summer shutdown. Didn't receive my replacement Izoard frame due to their holidays (that was their story anyway).
Think of it potentially a good thing as you might've been tempted to go out on it and wipeout on a lovely glistening roundabout.0 -
Ouch!
Ice or not you'd want to have it. Just to look at. To put it in the spare bedroom. To switch off the light and leave it. And then to go back 5 mins later and switch the light back on and have another look.
And so on.0 -
After just finishing 15 years being fucked around and wound up by working with Italy and their infuriating ways, I immediately jumped in to obtain a new bike from there....
And so it began; first despite it being at the Bike Show in October, in their 2011 brochure and all over the Internet, maybe they weren't actually building it, then I could have a frame specially built, which to fit out as their spec would total around £600 more  and every answer takes at least 5 days however simple :x
But order I did, let's see what the next problem is, and how near we get to the April delivery 'promised' :roll:2011 Bianchi D2 Cavaria in celeste (of course!)

Wouldn't surprise me if they still have a summer shutdown, was only 8 years or so ago that a mate ordered a new alfa romeo only to be notified of a rather long wait due to their 6 week summer shutdown of the factory. It cost them a sale that time as he bought something else. I can't think of any other major car companies that close factories for weeks at a time. (outside recessionary times of course!)0 -
I thought that you might have been referring to this...
