    Did you condition?

  • Cleaned my F/S bike drivetrain for the last time today, although it has been easy lately due to the snow, so only once a week at most.

Picking up my H/T newly converted to SS tomorrow, winter cleaning? No thanks.
  • Good idea. better still, put the plug in next time so you and/or the Mrs can reuse the water afterwards.
  • I can get away with most things but washing my bike in the bath would result in me being single before i'd finished washing the bike

  • I thought I was brave bringing my bike in and resting against a radiator in the kitchen after cleaning it off - but this takes the biscuit.

I wash my bike like that all the time. :D Better off taking the front wheel off first and stick a rubberband over the rear brake lever to lock the back brake so the bike won't roll everwhere. Watch out for the sand and gunk clogging up up the P trap under the bath though. Ps Flash does a good job of cleaning the bath afterwards. She will never know.

  • Wow.
I just went for some warm water in a bucket. Id like to keep my little fellers in their bag
  • Ha! I tried this once - never again is all I can say - the bathroom was a right mess. Fortunatly bought myself a DirtWorker that makes the problems of living is a 3rd storey flat a little easier
