    Very true.

    But I don't find such shots Amazing, shocking, thought provoking yes, but Amazing?
    Amazing to me is the lightening in that volcanoes ash, a cracking sunset or sunrise, a shot of a stunt man mid stunt or race car mid crash.

    The one of the workmen putting the railings in place on that viewing platform scares the crap out of me, but i don't exactly like heights.

    I think 'amazing' means different things to different people. The ones where the journalist is in and among the danger and the suffering... those - to me - are amazing.

    Although I obviously appreciate the Icelandic volcano shot.
