So as it stands, my old man mobile looks like so
Now to try make it look a bit less boring, I'm looking at a spoiler for the back. Some models come with one factory fitted like
Quick ebay search has thrown up two options from one seller
This one which comes with break light to replace the internal one this spoiler would cover or this one which wouldn't obscure the brake light
Which do you guys think is better?

Smaller one looks better. Neither will do anything for the handling.0

Neither. What you want is a very thin "lip spoiler" running along the edge of the boot. Look at an M5 for details...0

There are a few of those on ebay but the back end still looks dull with them on

Lucky thats not the aim0 -

From what I can see, the smaller one has a brake light in it, the bigger hasn't. Your car has a 3rd brake light so if you add another one in it starts to get a bit messy.
I would go with the larger one.Trek Fuel EX 8 (2010)0 -

the ones you linked are unpainted btw....
How do they fit? Sure you want to drill the boot with an aftermarket spoiler? get it wrong and you'll have a pond in the boot.
Car looks better as it it.0 -

If you are getting it done for yourself, then fair enough: but if for the benfit of others who are looking it at, it seems pretty certain so far that nobody really likes them!0

I've never been one to do things for the benefit of others. I wouldn't have bought an Accord if that were the case0 -

then again, this isn't a car forum...
If he asked the question on www.honda-accordzzzz-massif.co.uk i'm sure the response would be more positive!0 -

To be fair Andy, first of the spoilers look a bit 90's repmobile, and the other is a bit boy racerI know I've got a spoiler on mine, but that was standard fit. I think something low profile and possibly carbon? a little bit like this one, I know its the wrong car and everything, but you get an idea
(this however is what I aim to have next )0
