Giant XTC1 junior 24"

Hi all,

I am after buying a new bike for my 9 year old. We have been looking at the Giant XTC1 24". He is 136cm tall and 61cm inside leg.
Has anyone any thoughts on this bike and anyone know how much it weighs?

Also seen the Specialized hotrock A1 FS Boys 24". Any thoughts on that one or anything similar?

    It's your call, you'd be better off going to a shop and seeing them for real. Sometimes it just comes down to which colour you prefer.

    Or just get one of these instead. Kids don't need 21 gears and suspension to have fun.

    I have been thinking about the Beinn 24 myself. I think we will go for that and then the luath when he is a bit bigger.
