Maps for Garmin 800

I got a Garmin 800 today, but it's the version without the maps SD card. (The person who bought it for me meant to get the one with maps but clicked the wrong one).
I have the option of returning it for a model with maps (which of course I don't want to do right now because I just want to get it out of the box and play with it) or I could just buy a separate SD card.
I've Googled a bit but am struggling to see where I can actually buy the SD cards or how much they cost. Can someone point me in the direction of the maps please.
ALso, if I don't have maps, can I still download routes from Connect?
Thanks

I just bought the UK & Ireland 2010 road map off EBay - works a treat then uploaded routes via bikeroutetoaster.... perfect and great bit of kit!0

Thank you redvision. The package he meant to buy was £50 more and included Europe city mapping, but from your link, it looks like £50 is what the Euro map costs anyway, and I'd have to spend £6 to send this one back Special Delivery so I might just buy a separate map. (Damm, I've already donemy turbo session for today and didn't use it as I didn't know if I was keeping it or not!)0
