I need some help with the rear wheel on my 2010 Boardman Pro HT, I recently discovered a crack the in rim so ordered a new one from CRC [see link] and got my LBS to build the wheel up with the new rim. But after fitting it back to the bike it doesnt sit centred between the stays?
I have just noticed its an OCR rim, would this make a difference? the spoke bed appears to be on the non drive side. Furthest away from the cassette.
Did I make a mistake buying an OCR rim? Do you need specific a hub/frame for an offset wheel??!

sounds like the LBS built the wheel wrong. ask them to build it correctly with the correct length spokes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

They used the same spokes from the previous rim, would they need to be different lengths?0

Yes you may need different sized spokes. The spoke length is dependent on many factors, have a look at the DT Swiss spoke length calculator.0
