Hi Guys,

New to mountain biking picking up new bike on Friday - Any advice on places to ride,meets etc in my area?

    Malvern will be pretty close.
    A shop there called back on track bikes. They have routes advertised. They should also be aware of any bike clubs in the area.

    Look on the rides section of here, there is a regular bunch who do the Wyre forest that may also be close.

    Thanks for offer Malvern sounds good - bit worried I'm not upto any reasonable standard!

    Also I live pretty close to Wyre Forest if interested in travelling this way?

    If you are near the Wyre forest look on the routes and rides section. There is a regular bunch of all standards who ride there on one of them.

    Malvern is not that technical. Some interesting climbing that will test, but its a really fun blast.

    There's a few places with various types of riding available.

    Malvern and Wyre Forest (as already mentioned), then there's Clent, Kinver Edge and of course don't forget that Cannock Chase isn't a million miles away.
