Laura Nicholls - "I will be doing a solo bike tour of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. During my 12 month tour I will be volunteering in disabled rehabilitation centres, teaching locals how to make and fit Prosthetic limbs and Orthotics appliances to aid rehabilitation and improve integration into work and society. Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam are amongst the countries which have the most landmines in the world, and there is very little provision for the injured to be rehabilitated. I will be cycling around 5000 miles over the course of the trip, around very mountainous terrain, in very varying conditions."

    would this be the same Laura you have multi posted about in other sections of the forum
    Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?
    Then read MY BLOG @ http://www.pebennett.com

  • It would though those posts were originally amended from posts made by the guy (currently winning) who registered just to try and whore votes despite it having hee haw to do with bikes. That is what pissed us off in the crudcatcher and why we started the campaign for the Laura one to win (she's planning on a bike by trip that involves helping people there make and fit prosthetics... the dude currently winning just wants an expenses paid jolly).

    We're just appealing to the good natures of you guys and gals :D

    Is it my imagination or can you keep hitting the vote button and it registers as many votes as you want? Should be quite easy to fix a vote on there! :shock:

    Well I can certainly vote for her on all 45 machines here which will appear as one IP address to the outside world, it's probably just a cookie or similar.

    @spen666 - yes
    @littlebob - he joined here and in his only post asked people to vote for him. We decided he was a d*ck and as Laura was doing her challenge on a bike, decided to try and get her in front.

    Vote for Laura and tell your friends, relations and minions.

    "You ask, what is our aim?

    I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. Let that be realised; no survival for the British Empire, no survival for all that the British Empire has stood for, no survival for the urge and impulse of the ages, that mankind will move forward towards its goal. But I take up my task with buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men. At this time I feel entitled to claim the aid of all, and I say, "come then, let us go forward together with our united strength." Winston S Churchill
