Ta schweiz, It could be a Specialized pressed BB crankset (I think) already in there. If so will this mean there is no thread? Can it be adapted?

What S-Works is it ? Tarmac? Roubaix? and what year? I quickly checked on the Specialized website before I replied and they all seem to be threaded BB's. Being a US company they will use an English thread.

Hi, it's a 2011 S Works SL3. The reason I ask is that I was looking to put on the Sram Red Chainset with GXP to make the bike all Sram Red groupo. The chap I spoke to was saying that it was a pressed BB. Hence my question.

the Spesh website just saysStandard threaded bottom bracket.

2011 S-Works SL3 has a standard threaded BB - not a press fit, so a GXP will fit fine.0 -
