Which winter tyres?

Which tyres shall I still on the GT for winter? I'm hoping to fit and leave till spring.

Both 2.1 though I think the Trailrakers come up slightly smaller.

    Get your Mud ones back from Alex?

    The Trailrakers are okay in the snow, but not as good as the Fire's. The Mud ones were a much better option, however I'm currently using Shwalbe Space ones on the Coiler. Excellent grip in the snow and ice. Only downside is they're 1100g each and there's very minimal clearance. I had to remove the RRP front fender as the tyre was rubbing on it.

    I never got on with the Fire Mud's. They were awful for Cannock Chase really.

    I raced the NPS at Cannock on them and found them very grippy. Granted the course was under a few inches of water/mud...

    Yeah for FTD or Monkey, they're not great.

    TBH, neither are the XC Fire Pro's on those trails.
