At home it is set to 19°. mrs blitz likes recycling, I am trying to save the planet by using less energy
Called round a mates house at the weekend it was on 25° The blast as he opened the front door nearly took my eyebrows off.
At work it is currently 16°

I don't know, our landlord has the cupboard locked so we can't get to it. Frankly he's a prat and I could get in with a sock if I needed too... I've already had to break into two other rooms (one with a can of coke and another with a strategically bent knife) because of hassles living here.
But it's pretty cold at home atm.0 -
Erm, at work it's set to 'Medium' heat and 'Low' for the blowers. Thermometer on my desk says 75F.
At home, Mrs C's got the boiler on the Furnace setting...0 -
the apartment is heated to about 24,5 degrees C work no idea but happy in a T shirt."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

think I'll invite myself round to some of that!
In need of any beer?0 -
Just got mine turned up full, I have thermostatic radiator valves rather than a thermostat0
-
I've just got the twisty radiator things, so no idea what it's set to. But we try to conserve energy so I keep it warm enough that i'm comfortable in a long sleeve shirt and a pair of trackies, but cold enough that I need to wear them.0
-
Thermostats on each radiator but overall temp probably somewhere around 17 degs C. Can't see any point in going wamer. Wear a jumper / fleece / cardigan (delete as applicable to your age group) at my house if you are chilly..0

according to my energy monitor its 24 degrees in here0

Freakin landlord has just been over, raised the question of why the door to the boiler was locked and asked to have it on in the afternoon, to get the response 'we can't afford it' - the rent includes all bills. Four bed house, one room not let. I'm assuming they can't afford it because they aren't able to let the fourth room... leaving us quite chilly.
Surely their not being able to afford it doesn't justify us going going cold?0 -
Set ours to 17, but its deceptive as the thermostat measures temp on the ground floor and we are a three story house0
-
At work it's somewhere approaching the temperature of the surface of the sun.
At home it's probably about 20 but our house is shite at keeping heat in so radiators will be on full blast :roll:0 -

Surely they can't do that can they, otherwise they can come over and turn the telly off because of the electric, or stop you having a bath because of the water rates
have a word with the C.A.B or with your letting agents if u let through one0 -

it's an interesting arrangement; no contracts.0 -
I set mine to 65f..... well untill the misuss fiddles with the knob which makes me hot and red
Why is it they do this ?? also why do they have to leave all the bloody lights on....if she is cold and want's to warm up she can go and sit next too the electricity meter with the heat that is giving off with that bloody ring spining round.....0 -

well fork out a few quid on halogen heaters for the place at a tenner a piece, they will burn electricity like no ones business and you can hide them away if he pops round
In fact they will probably burn more power than the central heating0 -

Will do, there's three of them so I reckon they'll see me through the winter0 -
Halogen heaters vs Burning the landlords? Why make the choice when I can add insult to injury!0

home:set on 13 but thermostat is wrong so about 16 indoors
at work today it was about 20 in the workshop and under the furnace it was pushing about 700(I spent about 10 mins greasing some bearings under one of the cement furnaces)I assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.0
