So this morning felt that cold i thought the soles of my feet were going to stick to the slate in my shower room!
I have a full diary this week and last night i noticed that they have incorrectly booked today and tomorrow for me instead of someone else's area, which basically means i wont need to leave my (warm-ish) office and i dont really have anything inportant to do :D
No pig again today, just porridge  but on a up side even my dad has noticed that i have lost some ballast since being ill for soo long :D
Meant to be doing a night ride tonight, not sure its a good idea as were still walking around down here like were bambi on ice. has it thawed out where you are?

  • Another day of frozen icyness here again today. :(

Still waiting for Forza and Halo Reach to show up, ordered about a week and a half ago. Curse Royal Mail for not using snowmobiles!

    Christmas Avatar now uploaded.

Got to go, running late already.
  • Snow has melted here, leaving a ncie layer of water everywhere to be frozen. Even just walking across the street to buy my morning energy drink and some supplies for the day I nearly slipped over about 50 times.

Will be a good day though, XBOX will be sold and picked up as i've just found out, and will have funds for my bike which is always good.

Does this involve sitting in a coffee shop eating pastrys and gossiping?

  • no snow or ice here, but it was like minus 5 or something over night.

got woken up at 2am by my housemates trying to kick their own door in cause they got locked out, and then again about 20 mins later when my other 2 housemates rolled in 3 hours early because one of them had gotten too drunk on the way to fabric, thrown up on the coach taking them, and then been promplty kicked off and not allowed entry.

    entertaining night all round

now i get to go and hopefully finish making a table for my materials module :)

Someone house but probs for the first hour.
  • Still cold as fuq here and I drove my mobile ice sculpture to the office again.
It so damned cold the windscreen washer jets freeze up and that doesn't help in this weather at all. IN the warm office now, mug of tea, feeling quite content until I have to drive home

    Yum,
a sandwich containing sausage, bacon and eggs has just been consumed and two mugs of tea are on my desk.
It's still fooking cold but I managed to fix the heater on the battlewagon last night. A big plastic bag had managed to get itself stuck, jamming up the whole thing. Lying on your back on freezing cold ground with your arms in a strange position is not a fun way to spend Monday night.

  • Morning all,

No snow here, just a wicked looking frost.

    Today, I am ill. :(

Started getting the aches Sunday, cough yesterday and last night I got the whole show. Nose, bastard headache, sweats, I spent the night getting dressed and undressed as I went from boiling to freezing, hardly got any sleep. So today I shall be curling up on the sofa and watching crap.

    Morning

Dunno what to have for brekky today, I'm thinking cinnamon and raisin soda bread now with a bacon butty for lunch. VW why you cutting out the bacon? If its a diet thing, brown bread and bacon medallions are great, hardly any fat involved in it.

Gonna finish off the 12 days of xmas photos today for the next hour then off to the gym for a bit follwed by a couple of hours climbing

Back to work tommorrow :( but only 2 weeks to go til chrimble break

Morning lurkers. A scintillating -10° in the car this morning, the b*stard doors were frozen shut. But it warmed up to -9° on the way into work...

    Good Morning Freaks!

Today, for some unknown reason, I'm in a really good mood... :?

-4 outside the house this morning, dropping to -6 on the way into Cardiff. River Ely is completely frozen over as well as a few of the edges of Cardiff Bay.

Already finished my work for today, so going to relax and post on here lots. :D
  • Morning all. Just made it in to the office in Paisley after doing my first commute in by bike (wish I could do it more often but as I am a field engineer i need my car for work) and I am the only one in so far. The boss just phoned to say he is working from home today - git and apparently my other colleague is trying to walk it to the other office at the ambulance control room.

    I need coffee!!!

This. Coffee fetching minion's going to be in a bit later this morning, so I'm having to resort to Bovril and a Steak & Kidney pie to keep me going...

    Yeah I could;)
I haven't been in the gym for years, I really miss it, I was there a minimum of 5 times a week but my job now consists of 12hr days and the weekends consist of family and bikes
