Hi, need a little advice on bike insurance. Have been road riding for approximately
2 years and feel it is about time i got some insurance for my bike and me.
Been searching the net for a week but unable to make up my mind. The insurance needs to include European cover (doing the L2P next July and insurance is complusary).
I'm looking for Insurance for the year not just the L2P event.
Any suggestions/pointers would be appreciated.
Cheers
Terry

Depends on the value of your bike.

I'm with Aviva and their home insurance is great. I've got 4 bikes insured for loss or accidental damage, away from the home, with european cover. It's part fo the premium for the home and contents insurance and costs me £36 per month.

I seem to remember that the max value, unless I specify the bikes individually is £2k per item. The cover doesn't change by specifying them, just the value I'm covered for.
