A taste filter? I'm running 10.1.54 and can't add some Gore tunes I've downloaded.
Edit: Even BR has filters. The word Gore is supposed to say G l e e.

I think there is something dodgy going on with the shuffle function. It keeps playing the same songs over and over and over again until I f*cking hate them and have to delete them. Anything by Glee for example.0

Ah, you mean when listening to songs on shuffle you hear certain ones more than others.
I have noticed this as well, you can look at the play amount and can see some are played 3 or 4 times and others are still on 0.
But to answer your Q i have no idea why it does this!0 -

on my classic it shuffles properly, but yeah, on a computer my shuffle just plays the same songs over and over
