Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knows what brand and model of the fork pictured below. I want to replace this with a single crown and sell this one, if you know the $ value too.
It weighs only 4 pounds or a little less, which is very light.
Thanks for any help!!

I believe they are Sporks and worth a bag of Haribo and a slightly chewed pizza.

what is the axle diameter? 20mm or.....

    tops of the fork legs.

They weight more than 4lbs, that is for sure

    I think it is a Hanebrink G7.

  • The exposed leg is 6.5 inches to the brake mount. I re weighed it on my Chantillian plunger scale and it is 4 pounds. I was suprised at how light it was when I took it off the bike.
    Thanks for your help!

a 160mmish Triple clamp with Qr 20mm axle.

just cant place the disc mount.
not quite Dorrado fitting and almost the hayes 22mm fitting.

what is the vertical spacing of the holes on the left leg?

I am positive it is a Hanebrink G7 now - they were actually very light, the Bat Fastard was a monsterous thing! Used very simple internals, air damped strut with a short coil spring.
  • It had 2 short springs, one top and one bottom, with I believe red elastomers in the middle, this is on the brake side. The distance inbetween vertical brake mount holes center, look to be about 12mm.
    Thanks again for the research!

Mmm G7 was a 7" travel fork so maybe it is not fully extended.

here is an image of "a" caliper mount.

  • Yep that's it alright! It is about 7 inches if you measure top of axle. It came off a San Andreas and I am worried about denting the frame with a double crown. So it's gotta go.
What do you think is a fair sale price?

    15) Do not post "How much is it worth?" topics. If you want to know, look on other sites for a benchmark.

    but, just about nothing.

  • I guess I'll just have to keep it wih the other parts graveyard.
    Thanks guys for your help!
  • Just like toThank You guys for the help!!!!
I checked around the fork has sold recently, and is reported pretty durable. I should be able to get something for it.

Thanks guys you know you're stuff!!!
  • It may look like an very early version of a MR DIRT Mk1. As they are upside down forks.
