The whole Facebook trend thing of changing profile pictures for pics of cartoons. I just don't see how it has any point.
One issue it has however thrown up is that Ariel from the Little Mermaid is actually a bit of a babe...

This. It's only when these asshats like the NSPCC got involved that the country started going to shit...
Go back to a time when children never dared even look at an adult through fear of not being able to sit down comfortably for a couple of days and the streets were a much better place.0 -
It's the same thing as those petitions that go around on facebook saying join this group and you're helping to stop some form of abuse just by joining. So me joining a group of facebook stops something?

You're missing the point, it's so you can show all your friends how much of an awesome and upstanding human being you are, of course you could do something worthwhile like raise some money, but doing a quick search on google images is a lot less hassle....

Meh. I didn't do it to save a kids life, in fact, I didn't realise that was why it started, I just thought they wanted everyones picture to be of a cartoon.
Plus, Count Duckula rocked! Even a hot girl mentioned it on my wall 8)It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Yeah, it's such balls. Awareness campaigns seem to be ways for people to feel good about mentioning their "concern" about something without actually doing anything about it.
