very nice with the green. well done0

I would do wheels first, and only replace the chainset when it wears out. Those Deore chainsets are fine, otherwise it is lots of cash for a tiny difference.
The green looks great, only seen them in black before. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

Would be interested in the weight. Was looking at one of these to swap with my Boardman frame but it didnt seem that the weight difference would be very much at all.
Tis very nice lookin though. Love the decal placement.0 -
That green is amazing! How stiff is the rear end? Was contemplating one, but don't know if my back could take it if it's as stiff as the mmmbop was.0

That is a really nice looking frame - green colour beats the mmmBop green hands down.0

Slightly stranger question.
What size is your Lezyne chainstay protector?0 -
good choice of tyers!! found they work in the snow pretty good as well as the dry, bit sketchy when you get up to a speed tho lol funtimes!! as for the chain set, i have xt and the chainrings are like butter!! and cost a bomb! like the green alot.....0

Cheers for the feedback, all credit to On-One for the paint work, they did a really nice job.
Not sure about the total weight or frame weight, I don't have any suitable scales at home, but I'll pop to my lbs and ask them to weigh it.
The back end is really stiff, I'll give it a pain rating out of 10 once I've spent a day on it I'll be experimenting with different seatposts to try and take some of the sting out of it; any suggestions would be welcome.
Stoo; the chainstay protector was a medium and fitted fine.'93 Hardrock

Agree that wheels are worth doing before the chainset. Looks good though, they're stunning value bikes those.0

Nice looking bike!
I'm thinking about splashing out on one of these and was just wondering how good the carbon frames are? Do they have a limited lifespan or will they last as well as an aluminium frame?0
