The wife brought me home a 200g bag of chocolate coated brazil nuts after eating the full bag i wondered how many calories ive just eaten.the back of the packet revealed.
Per 100g 2256 calories
That would mean i had consumed 4512 calories.
Is it a miss print that seems like a hell of alot of calories for such a small amount.

Are you sure that it isn't ~2,000 kJ per 100g? It should read about 500 kCalories (the food equivilent of Calories) per 100g, although the 50g of fat per 100g would be more of a worry.
Mind you, eating all of a 200g bag, get on that turbo trainer fat boy0 -
It's when you visit an elderly relative and they give you a load of brazil nuts you have to worryI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

LA says 580 kCal per 100g

That means 200g is about half of what you should be eating calorie wise in a day.0 -

My treat from the pick and mix when I go to the cinema instead of Popcorn....Usually though I get mine from Holland & Barrett..so it must be healthfood....I remain amazed of what they H&B sell yet call "Health food." especiallly the amount added sugar there is in dried fruits,,Their dried Pineapples,Papaya,Ginger Tropical mixes etc....Is all this sugared up fruit really Healthy food?jc0
