Hi

Currently got a Windproof Altura night Vision Jacket and love it so want to get the waterproof gear as well

Shall i get overtrousers or normal ??

They have these to pick from, is it worth paying the extra for the night vision ?

What type of riding are you planning on doing? I find when wearing anything heavy on my legs I sweat like crazy - especially if they are going to be waterproof ones. For commuting they might be OK but for off-roading sessions I would stick to MTB baggies and a set of tights/under shorts.

Recently been sporting a pair of Sprayway Goretex overtrousers, with Ronhills leggings and padded shorts underneath. Waterproof, windproof and warm recently got caught in a 3 hour deluge and Ronhills not even damp from sweat so breathability of the overtrousers must be pretty good too.
Dont know if they're still available as they're 15+ year old!!
  • just got a pair of ultura nevis overtrousers
    light and comfy
