In 2009, the Goat was burned on 23 December. The web cams were also attacked at the same time, therefore the arsonists were not visible on Internet.

Also, an observation - you can tell quite easily that it's not in the UK, I just saw a bus moving along the street and there's snow on the ground! :shock:

Of course it's meant to be set on fire. It's a large public thing made of wood (and/or hay, byt the looks of it). It's meant to attract chavs to it, like the sacrificial anode attracts rust on a boat, to prevent the rest of the boat rusting.
