Pretty snowy apparently, 2 inches of snow on the lower loop, 4 to 5 on the upper loop. Got very cold last night as well so a lot of the slush will now be ice.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result
  • Just wondering what the conditions will be like this weekend. I am guessing very wet with the forecast for temp. increase?

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

Hope it does warm up as we're supposed to be digging on Sunday and you can't do that when the grounds covered in snow. I reckon it'll be pretty soggy, even if there's still snow around it's likely to be very slushy. That said it's still below freezing in Clitheroe today so who knows.

  • cheers Stumpy, if anyone is going there tomorrow, feedback on the conditions would be greatly appreciated as I plan to ride there on Sunday.

Also another long shot, I lost my camelbak there about 3-4 weeks ago. Anyone seen it let me know and I'll wing a crate of beer your way! :)
  • I rode Gisburn yesterday, it is in good condition, clear, and fairly dry, odd small patch of ice, though not enough to give pause for thought !
