Best place to go (warm) this time of year.

I have a week off 11-18th December where's the best place to go.

    Depends what you are after. If it's warm weather then the only short haul destination that is likely to deliver is one of the Canary Islands. Temps still in the 20s.

    If you are looking to get out on the bike in mild weather then somewhere on the Spanish coast will probably fit the bill.

    Radioshack are holding a team camp in Calpe that week and Quickstep are usually around in December as well - get the drift? If it's good enough for them etc, etc.

    We were out today in 14 degrees and blue skies just up the coast in Denia. It's chilly for here but obviously an awful lot better than the UK.
