A friend's OH is a PT for all manner of people - used to do training for the RAF.

He's doing an Advent Challenge - something to add to the cycling every day!

  • Just need to change the FB link is there but not all showing as a hyper link.

Looks pretty good though, wish I'd thought of doing it
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Nope couldn't understand a word he said, is he foreign ?

Press ups against the kitchen worktop FFS = FAIL

Unless he was there to fix the washing machine and the other person had been photoshop out that just not right

Now this old dude is proper nails

Ahhhh poor old BR's url thingo doesn't recognise it...

And ITB - the idea is not for it to be nails, it's for it to be do-able!

How many press-ups did you do, old boy? :P

Oh and the chap in the vids apparently also trained and worked with the Paras, the Marines and the SAS... I suspect he may secretly be quite nails.

One of my Uncles rode for the RAF in 1937 and 1938.

Your OH won't know him, he was killed in a Handley Page Halifax in 1942.

Does your reference to 'nails' mean "Hard as", or "Easily hammered"?

Did the SAS chappie ever do the River Wye 100 mile River raft race? They always won.

Day3: Do some mini-muffins and coffee count as breakfast?

  • I had muesli and a yoghurt. Am now very hungry. :?
  • I'm not eating porridge for anyone, but I had granola, which is close enough.

I didn't think an early breakfast would make me so darn hungry so darn early...

Always does me, if I have breakfast at 7 I'll be starving by 9.30 (and probably 11 too). If I don't have breakfast then I don't need lunch til mid afternoon either.

Suffice to say I'll pick the eating at 7, 9, 11, 1 options.

Speaking of which, it's 11.30, no wonder I'm peckish. brb

  • Make the early breakfast bigger. I have a big bowl of porridge with a spoonful of jam mixed in, plus a banana at 7am and that keeps me going until lunch at 12:30 (and I'm 83-4kg, no flyweight).

    This is a good idea!

Missed yesterday's challenge, but I did 10 pressups as part of my post ride stretch so that will have to do.

Today's challenge was so easy but mine was a fryup :)

Day 5: drink water day. I prefer mine filtered. Through coffee grounds. 2 litres sounds about right :)

    I have breakfast before 6.

I know it is a bad day when I start my packed lunch before 8.
