Hi mate,
Give the good old search function a bash.
You can also look on Bikes and Gear section at the top. They normally have reviews by people
who have used them...so do Wiggle etc.
My computer is a Cateye...basic with the normal trip, ave speed, max speed etc functions. Not expensive and works fine.
Depends on how much you want/have to spend and what functions you need0 -
if you have an iphone, just use that with a app.0

You dont really need either to be honest.
I'm not overly impressed with the GPS's i've seen - they dont seem good enough to be able to find routes easily and they're expensive.
If you want a bike computer you can get a decent cateye for £20 or so.0 -
Like others have said it depends on;
a) what you want it to do
b) how much you want to spend
A decent trip computer should set you back about £20 and then they go from there upwards with more functions, wireless & GPS.
I have a Garmin 705 GPS which does pretty much everything I could want and more but I did have to pay for the privilege, but prior to that had a £25 computer that did speed, distance and was pretty good indeed.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
If you want to review where you've been and look at your data for any specific point on a ride then the Garmin 500 is great.
If you want to navigate routes you've not done before/unfamiliar areas then you're probably better off with a Garmin 705 or similar.0 -
thanks for all your help. hope to spend up to about £200 on one0

Unless you want gps or you want to use it with a power meter, in which case you should get a Garmin 500, all you need is a Cateye V3 Speed cadence and heart rate. at 98 squid it is below your budget. Voila0
