I currently have some Conti 32c slick tyres on my commuter and want something with more grip so I dont have to stop commuting during the snowy stuff, also would like to use it for muddy cycle paths sometimes.

I had a look at these

Any thoughts?

Thanks

If you are going from slicks to something for the snow, get something with better tread than that Hybrid tyre, its still a slick in a straight line! A 'cross tyre seems the best bet!

+1. This is what I'm using at the moment - 30 mms. I'm running them at around 50psi at the moment. Was 40psi, but this is a bit soft for the road. Make for a comfy commute, too, compared to the usual 23mms!

Grippier tyres will help on snow but not on ice.
The only thing that grips on ice are studs.
